The CBT*ABC way apps from  TikalBayTek, Inc. are to help young kids, teens, and adults practice paying attention to negative thoughts and learning to challenge them with reasonable thoughts!

Welcome to SMCPA!

As the local chapter of the California Psychological Association, we strive to serve our community and members with vital information regarding the practice of psychology. To serve our community, we offer an online directory of SMCPA psychologists and psychological services. Our members’ services include psychotherapy, divorce mediation, crisis intervention, organizational and professional consultation, collaboration with health care providers, forensic assessment and treatment, career counseling, and psychological testing. We also offer educational articles, a Speakers’ Bureau for pro bono presentations available to any community group, and a list of local and national resources (see the top menu). Finally, SMCPA is committed to supporting the community through participation in such events as Red Cross disaster relief and National Depression Screening Day.

To serve our members, SMCPA provides access to continuing education, consultation, a network to help with practice development, mentoring for new members and students, and social events to promote our community of psychologists.

Please browse through our website to find the information that would benefit you. We look forward to serving you.  Please note that www.smcpa.org is designed for educational purposes and is not a substitute for professional psychological care. If you require psychological services, please consult a licensed psychologist in your area. You are welcome to use our "Find A Psychologist" feature above.
